Some really pretty choices

kousa dogwood (also called The Japanese Flowering Dogwood) Thank goodness this dogwood is so hardy in Indiana, because it is a showstopper! The Kousa looks like it belongs in a well manicured garden, with intricately shaped, milky white blossoms and beautiful form. Your birds will love the plump raspberry-like fruit in fall and winter.

butterflies magnolia
The name makes you smile, doesn’t it? So will the creamy yellow blooms, which unfurl in early spring exposing red stamens and perch like hundreds of beautiful, bright butterflies in this fairly large plant.

prince william serviceberry
This might be all you need to know: Prince William’s early spring clusters of white upright flowers are three times as big as other serviceberry blooms. Your birds will love the berries in fall and winter. This multi-stemmed shrub also comes dressed in handsome silver-gray striped bark. It’s practically royal!
