Yours will be one of the first to bloom in spring, is a repeat bloomer, loves part shade to shade, is deer resistant and can tolerate drought. Hellebores also make an excellent ground cover with a little extra height under trees and in the woods.

One of our go-to early-spring plants for containers and the landscape because they’re Pinterest-pretty and deceivingly hardy.
