Sun, shade, indoor or out, this tropical has a modern, Mediterranean look, with foliage that reminds us of banana leaves (which look really great on their own in a vase, by the way). Plant yours up in great pot for the back patio or a roomy, sunny corner in your office or family room–they have about a 2-3 foot wing span, which makes them a great design element that doesn’t get dwarfed in a large area.
