The Bloodgood Japanese Maple is a great specimen, accent, or patio tree. Large, deep red leaves which emerge bright red and mature to a deep, rich purple. Fall color is crimson.


Prune when dormant in late fall/early spring if needed.


Apply 10-10-10 fertilizer in March/April and in October/November.

EXPOSURE: Plant in morning sun and afternoon shade.
HEIGHT: 12′ – 15′
SPACING: 10′ – 12′
