Caladium

Also known as Angel Wings and Elephant Ears, the Tropical Caladium manages to be both large and graceful. Its leaves can grow larger than the palm of your hand and appear to be hand-painted in delicate pinks, reds and whites with feathered dark green veins. There’s no need for flowers when foliage is this intricate and it commands an audience from June until frost.

Yours will do best in shade or dappled shade with morning light and will thrive in the heat of summer in both the landscape and containers (we love them in containers best, especially as the eye-catching thriller that adds height). Keep the soil moist or leaves may yellow and drop. Mulch is a great way to keep moisture in.
