Did you know Calathea fold up their leaves in the evening as if they’re tucking themselves in for the night? But she’s no wallflower–Calathea doesn’t need blooms to be colorful, with dark green foliage striped with vibrant pink on the outside and deep purple on the other. Her leaves are glossy, with a whirled pattern and they’re held upright at attention during the day.
Place yours in bright, indirect light, but no direct sun to keep its leaves looking their best. Calathea likes to stay evenly moist and on a regular watering schedule.
