Otherwise known as Catmint, Cat’s Pajamas is a long blooming dwarf perennial that grows in a neat little ball shape. The best part? From early summer to early fall, indigo blue flowers bloom from the ground to the tips of the showy purple spikes and you can enjoy its mint scent when you brush by. Plus, after blooms are spent, the rosy purple calyces (or protective tips around flower buds) add some colorful interest.
This low-maintenance plant will do its best in full sun to part shade (in the hot afternoon), and has few pests or problems.
