Look at these Dahlias that just arrived!! And did you know that the Town of Zionsville was dubbed The Dahlia City in the 1920s because there were two nurseries in the Village that had success growing them (this was a little before our time, but we’ve officially been inspired).

Dahlias are native perennials in Mexico and Central America, but we grow them here as colorful annuals that bloom all summer and through the first frost. They’re definitely in their element in full sun.

And they look amazing in cut flower bouquets for yourself, a host (in a tiny nosegay bouquet tied with twine, for example), on top of napkins or in bud vases for a dinner party or instead of a bow on a summer gift.

Dahlias forever.
