THE HARBINGER OF SPRING
You’ll know it’s spring when you see the magenta buds swell into rosy pink flowers. One of the things that makes Easter Redbuds so remarkable is that their pea-sized blossoms emerge before the foliage, so it appears as if the bare branches are cloaked pink. We also appreciate the brilliant yellow fall foliage.
Redbuds’ small stature is at home in urban or suburban landscapes, as well as dotted throughout a sprawling expanse of land.
