You know how you love evergreens for their winter interest? Well, this deciduous birch keeps it real with a distinctive peeling bark that is visible to homeowners and passersby at a glance. In fact, the cream bark exfoliates on this multi-branched birch to reveal a cinnamon color and really spectacular texture. We’re big on texture.

Yours casts an impressive silhouette three seasons of the year and against night lighting, and turns a golden-yellow in fall. We find these do their very best with northern or eastern exposure, are very tolerant to wet soil (River Birch, after all) and are fast growing, reaching heights of up to 70ft.
