An excellent evergreen shrub for tall hedges and privacy screens. The long, upright-growing branches with dense, glossy, dark green foliage naturally form a narrow, columnar habit that works well as a foundation plant, or placed in pairs at entries or doorways.

Soil: Average to medium well-drained soil.
We recommend Altum’s Soil Amendment and Organic Plant Magic soil additive to improve planting areas.
Pruning: no pruning is necessary, but if pruning is desired, prune in late winter when plant is dormant. Never prune more than one-third of total canopy in any one year.
Water: Average water needs.
Water 2-3 times weekly until established.
Fertilizer: Fertilize in early spring with Organic Plant Magic , Iron Plus and 12-12-12 fertilizer.
