SMALL BUT MIGHTY FRAGRANT

A sentimental favorite over here as we divided some of my late grandmother’s and they are growing in a mostly shady spot in our landscape. These little beauties look delicate, but they are very easy to grow in almost any condition, preferring partial shade and moist soil (mine are very happy in semi-dry shade). They will also spread after flowering through attractive red seed pods, so leave some room for them to stretch out.

Especially pretty in a less-structured, natural garden space. A fragrant delight if planted near stepping stones or a patio.
