The best of both worlds, this lovely flowering redbud is a very fast grower but it won’t get too big. Check the size guide to get a good feel. I think we can all agree that spring is this tree’s sweet spot, with lavender-pink, sweet pea-like flowers on bare, weeping branches. Spring leaves emerge red, then change to dark green in summer.
