LEAVES LIKE THE CLAWS OF A DRAGON
A compact, slow-growing deciduous shrub with elegant dissected leaves that resemble the claws of a dragon. To the average visitor, the Red Dragon will appear delicate and lacy and fernlike, but it prefers full sun and will tolerate frost, just keep it water through summer drought and buffered from cold winds. Foliage emerges bright scarlet in spring, matures to dark burgundy in summer and transforms to eye-catching crimson in fall.
Upright grower up to 6-8ft tall forming an elegant cascading mound.
