Often called Sage, there’s more to Salvia than meets the eye. First, the graceful, striking purplish-bue blooms may repeat throughout the summer if provided regular moisture to encourage them. We also like to remove our spent flower spikes to help extend their bloom time and keep them looking tidier. Did you know Salvia foliage can even emit a fruity or spicy fragrance?
Yours will do best in full sun to part shade, and we like to pair ours with plants that have golden foliage for a color-wheel treat.
