NEW + NOTEWORTHY
Dogwoods have always been known for their haze of profuse white blooms. Until now. Scarlet Fire blazes through a long, 6-8 week spring with dark pink and fuchsia 5″ flowers that stand up well to sunny, warm weather. Scarlet’s leaves begin tinged with purple, become dark green, then turn red in fall. Summertime brings attractive 1″ pink-red fruits.
This dogwood is a vigorous grower and larger than most others, reaching a height of up to 10 feet before it’s a decade old, making it an excellent privacy screen. Yours will will do best in full sun to partial shade.
New! Dark pink blooms in late spring/early summer.
