A coniferous (i.e. keeps its needles year-round) mid-sized evergreen that won the Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. The Serbian is narrow, with a columnar shape that grows up to 30-40 feet tall and 10-15 feet wide, and is considered a well-adapted alternative to the common blue spruce (with its issues of spruce decline). We love it as an ornamental landscape addition with an attractive and slightly weeping habit.
Yours will do best in full sun to part shade and will adapt to almost any weather and soil.
