How about those maple-like leaves and that rich tea-color with burgundy veins? And if this isn’t delicious enough, foliage is sunset-colored in spring, then darkens to deep cinnamon in the summer, fall and winter. Cue the tiny white flowers borne on delicate stems that rise up to 20 inches above the foliage in early summer. Hummingbirds love them.
Yours will do best in partial sun/shade and moist but well-drained soil.
