A lot of people have never heard of Solidago, so maybe Goldenrod rings a bell? Whatever name you choose, you’ll love this perennial for its showy, upright, almost fluffy plumes of brilliant golden-yellow flowers on bushy mounds of bright green leaves. Solidago is easy to grow, not fussy about soil and flourishes in the sun. Bonuses: attractive to butterflies and excellent cut flowers.

Yours will bloom mid to late summer and into fall.
